Bay Area Homesteading

 

The Co-op is currently on hold for the 2010 season. We will resume in Spring of 2011. Due to the opening of the Farmers Market, the Community Garden and a new addition to the family coming in October, we had to take a break from the co-op for this year. However, We DO plan on starting again soon.

If you are looking for a special product that we do not have listed, or you are a local farmer or vendor, please contact us and see if we can help.

from 4:00pm -7:00 pm on Pick-up Day


Please Bring an ice chest for Cold items and your own reusable bags for other items.

Co-op Orders are on hold due to the hard freezes this winter and rain that moved spring planting back. We are constantly in touch with local farms and will be starting as soon as we are able to buy enough produce from local farms to fill the orders. We will be emailing all co-op members as soon as we have a start date. 
 

To order by Paypal or Credit Card order below. If you would like to pay by check or cash, please contact Cassie Mitchel at 281-804-4211 or send me your order in the comment box on the Contact Us page.

There is a $3.00 charge for picking up at the farms, bringing it back and maintaining the pick-up location. Please remember to add the $3.00 fee when you order online or you will be expected to pay it a pick-up.

An Example of a Full Mixed Fruit and Veggie Share:  


2 Large Bunches of Spinich                                               1  bunch of Cilantro                                           10-12   large Carrots

Now we are able to Offer Pasture-Raised Chicken Eggs

Eggs are available for purchase through the co-op. They come from a farm in Rosharon, Texas.  These wonderful chickes are Pasture-Raised to make the chickens life better and the eggs natural. These chickens are raised on a small family farm that also sells, fertilized eggs, chicks, meat, etc. Eggs are $3.50 a dozen 

We are also able to offer Goat Cheese, Soaps and Lotions

We have partnered up with Proverbs Farm out of Alvin to bring you homemade goat cheese, goat milk soap, and goat milk lotions. Proverbs Farm provides local pet owners, cheesemakers, and soap makers fresh goat milk for their products and use. 

Full Share of Produce

A Full Share of Organic Certified Fruits and Vegetables (contains roughly 2 +  canvas grocery bags full)   Most produce is from farms within 100 miles of our area.

A Half Share that contains Only Organic Certified Fruits. (contains roughly 1+ canvas grocery bag of fruits) Most produce is from farms within a 100 miles of our area.
